Art Clokey shows his inpiration for Gumby<br /><span style="font-size:0.8em;">I just heard the sad news that Gumby creator Art Clokey passed away today. I had the honor of spending a few hours with him in 2002 for a story and he was amazingly kind and gracious. The highlight for me was hearing the story behind the shape of Gumby's head which he modeled after his father's hair style seen in the photo on the wall behind him.
